Great showing, perfect cork, completely alive, complex, beguiling mix of dried petals, exotic spices and deeply alluring black fruit character, crushed to roasted. Tannins have integrated and made for a supple but postured sip. ‘05 still has my attention but this was showing very well.

Very concentrated and intense fruit with dense cherry and spiced blackberry aromas and some smoke and leather on the nose intermingle with some camphor and pepper. The palate shows great intensity of fruit with spiced raspberry, blackberry, and pressed currant with a dose of pepper and firm tannins. Finish shows more dark and red fruits when some Christmas spice. I love this wine!
