Cab franc from an iconic producer that has evolved enough that the pyrazines have completely been integrated. Had it with prime rib and it’s deep rich red fruit flavors just kept unfolding.

Funky in a good way. Rich and concentrated, with partially dried black fruits and spice notes flowing into a still youthful but accessible palate, again with dark fruits dominating. Served blind, I was considering Emidio Pepe's Montepulciano... I missed their usual finesse in this bottle.
