Earthy, ethereal, and aromatic, with dried sour cherry, stewed rhubarb and cranberry, black peppercorn, tobacco, worn-in leather, kalamata olive, violet petal, herbes de Provence, and sweet baking spice. Just a hint of perfectly integrated barnyard. Unbelievable with lamb tagine. 🤩🦄

Un nez incroyable, très aromatique, puissant et complexe sur des notes de fruits rouges et noirs, des épices, une touche de poivron rouge mais sans déranger, la bouche est fine et puissante, très typée et profonde, une texture de bouche et de tannins impressionnante avec une très belle longueur. 93-94

Gorgeous nose, complex and refined, red and dark fruits, spices, red pepper but nothing disturbing, the palate follows suit, deep and refined with enough grippy tannins to support, very Rougeard Like stylistically and a long delicious finish.

Good aromatic intensity of typical green and black pepper notes. Lots of structure. Would prefer to let this sit another 5-10yrs to let the oak integrate and the secondary flavors develop

This is going to turn into something really great. It just needs time!

At a loss to describe this wine ... coffee, currants, green pepper (but not under-ripe), and marzipan all showed. But it's the package of lithe texture and unmistakable and intoxicating nose that captures. Boss.

Ripe, tart red berry fruits with dried herbs showing great purity, elegance, balance and structure.

Not a cabarnet franc drinker but this is sublime. The green grassy taste of the grape is offset by the roundness and volume of the wine. Long aftertaste

2010 vintage. At Pearl & Ash on the Lower East Side (amazing wine list) with Kish. Deep ruby hue. Blackberry, leather, earth and savoury spice. Lots of white pepper and pencil shavings. Youthful. On the palate, great piercing acidity, medium plus concentration, medium alcohol, medium plus crunchy tannins. Long savoury finish. Really shouldn't have opened as this is still a baby. Clearly big and bold. Don't open until 2025+. Will drink forever: 2040+.
