Codorníu
Anna Brut Blanc de Blancs Cava Blend
Named after the last member of the Codorníu family who married Don Manuel Raventós, their descendants still lead the company today. Blend of Chardonnay, Parellada, Macabeo & Xarel-l, pale straw yellow color, tiny bubbles, good flow with light mousse with aromas of stone and citrus fruits. On the palate flavors of apple, peach, pear and citrus notes. Well balanced, medium length. Great value, a favorite.

Jan 10th, 2015Plenty of bubbles in this bubbler. Lush aromas of spicy ginger, almost gin, quite fascinating. Also a worthwhile performance and passage through the palate, showing spicy, seedy french bread crust, subtle tangerine, lemon zest. Not long, but entertaining while it lasts, with ok acidity and sour dough medium finish. 85 pts.
