A gorgeous example of why I fell in love with Italian wine. Rose water, leather, cotton wool tannins.

From even north of Lessona. Cherry, raspberry, blackberry and fresh plum. White pepper, red liquorice, Dried fennel, almond paste and orange rind. Fine, gentle emery board like tannins with perky acidity. Really approachable now. 65% neb, 20% croatina and 15% vespolina.

Light but very balanced, dry, perfect with an eclectic mix of Italian food!

Less tannin and more acid than typical. Natural.

Very fine indeed. Brought to a party so only had a glass and a half bit thoroughly enjoyed it.

Lovely cranberry and earthy business. Love it.
