Moores 2024. $25. My favorite rose on the planet. — 4 months ago
Enjoyed this wine, paired with Mie Gorang (Indonesian noodles). This fuller bodied rose has a fair bit of tannins that balanced the intensity of the dish while matching the aromas well. Fairly citrusy and floral. Not much on the nose. Finish is a lingering sweetness on the back of the palate. Very interesting rosè, would love to have again. — 10 months ago
My god. What a wine. Like $20 or so. Such purity.
Nose: fresh leather. Intense pink roses.
Palate: so fresh. Intense and pure fresh cherries. Nebbiolo spice. Wow.
A magnificent bottle of inexpensive wine. So proud that I had a part in bringing this into our country.

At Moore Brothers tasting of Piemonte with Fung and Mary 1/25/25. Unusual blend with fruit from high up by the foothills of Alps but microclimate warm enough for palm trees. A rather rich and round texture and wouldn’t have guessed Nebbiolo. — 8 months ago
Incredibly tannic upon open, but the nose showed there was depth and fruit. After about an hour, wine really opened. Sour cherry notes. Not sure nebbiolo, even 7 years old, is a good candidate for restaurant wine given the need for air. — 2 years ago
Angelo Casagrande
Light, not a ton of fragrance; such intense fruit- strawberry/ cherry. Really enjoyable light red. — 3 months ago
