Light burgundy in color with medium intensity and a red rim.
Fruity nose of strawberries, cherries, blueberries, cloves, toasted oak, vanilla, spices, metals, alcohol and black pepper.
Light to medium bodied with medium plus acidity and long legs.
Fruity on the palate, with tart notes on the mid palate, and with blackberries, cherries, strawberries, raspberries, currants, cloves, oak, vanilla, licorice, chocolates, beef jerky and peppercorn.
Short finish with soft tannins, tart strawberries and spices.
A simple red table wine. Can't really tell it's a Merlot necessarily, but still drinkable. Their Cabernet was better. Probably on its way out, as it died in the glass. Good right out of the bottle, though. Paired it with a nice sunny day and a pool...
13.5% alcohol by volume.
