Lean, sharp, and angular. Classic tones of olives, ink, and potpourri. Tannins were ripping, but it was still a lovely experience.

Jan 15th, 20242020/8/16-17 with Korean barbecue, etc. Big, with lots of inner tension and structure. Takes some time and air to open, but then red fruits and flowers emerge. Resolutely old-school, and I wouldn’t change a thing.

Aug 15th, 2020Gorgeous Barolo with heady floral and cherry aromas. Quite feminine on the palate with delicate notes of red fruit, anise and bay leaf. Black plum and just a hint of graphite on the finish. Would love to taste this again in 5 years
