Unusual cuvee ten years in concrete vats (MV as well?)— still very fresh. Loads of wood, apparently russian oak. Disorienting match of freshness and wood prominence. Will be interesting to follow.

(16/20) Насыщенный, элегантный аромат чёрных ягод, грецкого ореха, сладких специй. Относительно высокая кислотность, бархатистые, округлые танины. Спелые черные ягоды во вкусе. Весьма неплохая резерва.

Lean, precise and nicely tannic lending freshness while espresso and dark chocolate, light-Burgy spicy berry make for smooth, easy-drinking, food-friendly Rioja that's good for a few years but not more than 10. Riojalicious.
