Bicicleta Merlot

Deep purple in color with a beautiful wide ruby rim.

Very earthy on the nose with blackberries, green peppers, asparagus, cherries, blueberries, black currants, barnyard, oak, earth, dirt, vanilla, (i even got some cucumber notes) and black pepper.

Full-bodied with nice legs and medium acidity.

Dry and fruity on the palate, with blackberries, cola, cherries, plums, cloves, vanilla, oak, bell peppers, dirt, forest floor, minerals, spices and black pepper.

Medium finish with firm tannins and spices.

A nice, earthy, Merlot that goes very well with food. A little hot at the back of the throat.
I paired it with stuffed cabbage and sour cream.

14% alcohol by volume.

Medium to full bodied, aromatic quite a cheap bottle to drink if u look for table bottles.

Taste acidic and smell citrous. Dry aftertaste.

Bitter on edges of tongue at first long lasting bitter metallic dryness on the top of tongue through the end

A good honest drink. When its on £5 offers its a good quality v's price wine.
