Absolutely amazing

One hour decant(some cloudy sediment). A prodigious dark purplish garnet color with little signs of aging On the nose: perfumed cherries, some green veggie, floral, stewed meat, eucalyptus. Taste: smooth, elegant, balanced medium plus body wine with blackberry, cedar, cassis, earth, and a slightly spicy rocky cherry medium plus finish. Dusty tannins have sweetened, but still have just a slight kick left.

Smooth taste more spice than fruit

Just superb with lamb tonight. Smooth, complex, long finish. Really enjoyed it.

This was just wonderful with Thanksgiving porterhouse steaks

While still young, so yummy and well balanced. Mellow, gorgeous. Acidity in check and dried red fruit, flowers and a little earth are all there. Good thing I have more! Cathy is one of my fave winemakers, consistently for the last 15 years. Every bottle feels special.

Freshly opened bottle. 6 years old. Still super concentrated. Needs some time in the cellar or the decanter. Really great.
