Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

From magnum at winery party. Showing its age a bit but lovely perfume still dominates aromas.

Vibrant & alive. More red fruit. Fine grained. Just lovely

Still fun, but not exceptional.

Nearly 30 year old gem for our 30 year old friend.

On its last legs. The fruit has disappeared; nothing but vegetal, spice, and leathery characteristics. With all that said, the tannins are still holding on. Funk blew over after 30 minutes in decanter, but definitely some oxidative qualities to it.

Brick red, some umami on the nose. Maybe peaking over the other side of the hill.
