Amazing value for the wine. Totally not bad for a preposterously low price ($4.50/btl)!

1 person found it helpfulAug 21st, 2016The moderate aroma of this wine consists of cherry, licorice and a medicinal scent. It is fmedium-full bodied with medium acidity and tannins. The cherry and licorice/ anise flavors were strong and too overpowering for me.

Sep 1st, 2016Ruby hue. Aroma of roasted cherries. The wine's subtly oily texture complements a savory, almost meaty flavor. There is a suggestion of smoke. Barely tannic. Quite fine. Hardly rare, I suppose, but worth seeking out.
