Milk chocolate, red currant and super jammy. Lots of plum and medium tannins on palate!

Wasn't as bold as I thought it would be. Definitely not something to drink in public, as your teeth get really purple! :)

The Dark, 2013, is the first vintage of this wine which is a blend of 60% Petite Sirah and 40% Petit Verdot. It was aged 18 months in French oak, of which 25% is new. It has intense blackberry aromas framed by floral notes and earthy spices. On the palate, layers of dark fruit, blackberries, cassis and plum, are balanced with a silky texture, firm tannins and a hint of lush earth. The finish is long and smooth and a real crowd pleaser of a wine! Pair this wine with short ribs or lamb, or on it's own after dinner with a piece of aged cheese, or smokey blue 20$-25$ CAN
