Battle of the rye. Canadian crown royal northern harvest ranked #1 in the world of whisky! Hard to believe. I have to say it is the best crown royal, smooth and elegant. I still prefer the eagle rare bourbon for a cheap bottle.

Extraordinarily unremarkable. I don't understand the hype. Not bad at all. But not great in my opinion. Middle of the road all around to me. Easy to drink with mass appeal maybe, which, for me is not necessarily a compliment. It's fine. But nothing to write home about.

Genuinely impressed. Smooth. Not much heat or underlying flavor surprises. Upfront and honest. A solid effort from a mass producer.
