Well I bought this at Total Wine to make mulled wine with. Ended up opening it up with friends instead.
Dark ruby color with whiffs of strong spices, aged tobacco, and wood. There are some fruits as well, maybe blackberry? It’s hard to tell. Tart fruit flavors, like cranberry, medium bodied and light tannins. Pretty weak finish.
It’s probably better as mulled wine.

Darker in color and strong aroma up front. Fruity notes of cranberry and raspberry but not sweet. A dry wine. Only mildly acidic but after decanting for an hour and a half, tannins weren’t too present. (🎥 13 Lives)

Strong plum notes. As others have said, serve with food, or perhaps to offset an overly sweet and cold dessert. Very buttery and smooth. Nice aroma.
