Super Bowl Sunday kick off with this treat. Nicely balanced blend - 65% Cabernet Franc, 35% Merlot. Smooth but still abundance of structure and lots of fruit. Delicious. Will definitely benefit from some aging. Rating affirmed 8/27/19 at Daou Vineyards.

Didn't enjoy as much as the Daou year of falcon l...but again beautiful concentration, balance all the old world cabfranc nuance but muted and balanced well...tried it again with Burmese food and steak...brought out even more complexity...great job Daou!!

This Wine is just incredible, a wine you dont have to be eating anything with. beautifully soft body with a little edge to it, and then the array of unique flavors like baking spices and just a little dried cherry. An amazing blend of 65%Cabernet Franc/35%Merlot
