From a well stored collection drank 1/19/2018. Plum and dark berry nose, slightly floral. Acidity and tannins in balance, quite good.

Vivid dark purple in color. The viognier adds fragrance and the perfume of flowers, nectarines, blackberry, blueberry and boysenberry, soft fruity tannin, velvety smooth with a medium finish, extremely easy drinking with food. d'Arenberg is hands down dollar vs. quality leader in Australian Shiraz.
