Sharp, almost bitter. It was mildly better after it had been opened for 2 days. Not smooth.

Soft tannins, not to complex, fruit forward with some spice. Better after the wine opened up. This wine was to light with meat.

Nice velvety mouth feel to it, was a bit closed straight out of the bottle but opened up beautifully after a while.
