La Landonne Côte-Rôtie Syrah

This last time I had this wine it was very underwhelming... I would say this is a different story. Beautiful fruits, acid, and elegance. Lovey, lovely wine!

This bottle just plain rocked it out. Like when you adjust your golf swing, and the next thing you know every drive is long and straight and there's lots of birdies. You don't want the round to end, but eventually it does.

Smoked meats, coffee, blueberry, blackberry, fig. Graphite and mineral structure keep it together.

A bit heavy handed but opened up with time. Violets abound.

This was a touch riper than past btls.

Red & black fruits, meat, spice box, black pepper & lavender. Med bodied with no signs of the 03 heat or overipeness.

Much better than the first bottle out of the case this one had depth of fruit a concentrated nose and a long finish

Solid Deep Purple chewy mouthfeel lacks a bit of freshness

Black & red cherry, meat, iron, coffee bean, black olive, licorice, and cola.

Black & red fruits, with smoked meat, nice spice with floral notes, really liked this
