Les Bessards Hermitage Syrah

A bon Tain bon vin - even in a rainy year. Finally shedding its acidulated side. Smoke, black olive, white flowers, peach even - classic 90s unripe Hermitage.

Gunsmoke with a herbaceous note on the palate. Lively with pure fruit still peeping through but this wine is all about its set texture!!!

This wine was spectacular. Round, silky tannins with an earthy, barnyard taste. Loved it!

Very cool. Light and different than the rest of the flight. Would be very interested to revisit this with more focus.
