I am no expert on Farella, or Coombsville. But I have had some seriously hot and overdone wines from there. This is not one of them. Lovely varietal character, full of cassis that is inviting and almost pastille-like . There is a lot of stuffing to this wine, but it’s carried in an easy style and maintains some subtlety and brightness. Really an excellent wine. Approachable out of the gate.
