Dom Pérignon
Brut Rosé Champagne

Gorgeous wine. So complete, with secondary notes coming through but the freshness still. Wild strawberry, a soft minerality, deep. Complex. Balanced and drinking really well

Soft, resolved nose. Really pretty. Wild strawberry, gentle yellow flowers. Quite powerful but soft and all in place. Very good.

This is in a a great place. Raspberry, wild strawberry, rose and wet stone on the nose. A gorgeous subtle palate that’s resolved but fresh. Subtle and long in the finish with a delicate balance of sweetness and acidity. In a great place right now.

Gorgeous stuff. Delicate nose of strawberry and floral notes. The palate is softening but has great tension and minerality but delicious berry fruit. A long way to go but this is lovely

Our host served two bottles of this blind. Of course we all guessed them as being two different bottles as there was definitely bottle variation. Got the vintage wrong (I guessed 1995 on the first bottle) but was able to figure out this was Dom Rose. Light salmon color, great nose, sweet. Notes of kiwi, strawberry and powdered stone. Nice power and structure. Improved with air. Good acidity. Nice start to the evening.

Gorgeous. Wild strawberry, floral notes, steeliness in the nose. Great fruit with hints of secondary notes coming through and beautiful balance. Superb.

This is gorgeous. Depth of wild strawberry flavor, a beautiful balance on the mid palate and a luscious, long finish. Just wow.

Pale pink with a hint of amber. Beautifully poised. Some fresh notes of intense oyster shells on the nose and a lovely palate of wild strawberry, rounded soft edged fruit. Delicate acidity. Very harmonious, and subtle. Great stuff. A perfect wine for an anniversary dinner. 17 years and going strong!

Colour of burnished copper. Notes of strawberry raspberry and tomato leaf. On palate savoury strawberry notes with hints of toffee minerals and a touch of honey. The blend varies between 60 to 70% Pinot Noir and 30 to 40% Chardonnay - zero Pinot Meunière. A full bodied Champagne of profound intensity which assaults all of the senses and will easily reach its 20th Birthday. The full package and stunningly good. Like all great wines It changed over time showing different nuances and flavours.
