The 2010 is super smooth and polished notwithstanding the game character. So much fruit still. Very classy.

A beautiful, luxurious 2010 and a suprisingly good 2008 reconcile me with Clape after the disappointing 2007.

A monster. Pitch black fruit, great acidity, huge minerality, bold tannins and despite the above; lightness. Amazingly well balanced, this will keep for ages and will prove to be one of the greatest Cornas wines ever produced. Possibly a three digit wine. 98+

Bacon-fat, roasted herbs, smoky spice and packed with mine talc, this intense bottling has tremendous balance and fine length, thanks to juicy acidity, framing a classically built-up palate, promising to deliver even more dimensions in another few years.
