Les Alpes Savoie Gringet

Wow, this is a zinger. Starts with a wild herbal quality- a little feral sauv blanc note, with grapefruit and pine resin. Lightweight at first like a Muscadet but then it explodes like dynamite in a granite rock. The palate is just a bundle of minerality, acid and energy. Finish does not let go. Awesome.

Sort of lean in body, but big on flavor. Minerally Grapefruit. Finish is a bit short.

Limestone, lime salinity, red pear, jicama, grape leaves

This has almost everything that a Chardonnay from Jura has, except slightly lighter body and a little less acidity. Intense, with lemon, flint and saline mineral.

Acid, texture, length. 🔥

Crystal clarity. High acid, honey, chamomile and lemon balm, mineral.

Round and supple but with wonderful freshness and verve and life. A little tropical.

Had to put down. So lively and drinkable
