Poured at the Domaine by Vincent Ruiz, who has taken over the Estate and finished the bottling of this wine. The label was selected by Belluard’s wife, Valerie. After tasting through tank samples of the 2022 Gringets, it appears the Domaine (now called Domaine du Gringet) is in excellent hands. A beautiful site and a highly recommended visit. — a year ago
A rare variety, Gringet, produced at a single vineyard in Savoie. The winegrower in question gave his life for this variety, effectively, and this is the last vintage he made, or so I was told. You can research the story online.
Good acid, orchard fruit aromas, stone fruit and citrus flavors, mineral finish. I’m glad I got a taste and let’s hope more will be made by a daring winemaker or winegrower. — 2 years ago

Just an all time favorite. Last bottle of the ‘14 which is timely as it’s starting to dry out a bit. Still a beauty though. Wild black and purple fruit, herbal, sauvage, floral, peppery, a hint of spritz at the end. — 4 months ago
