From an especially damp, label-unfriendly part of my cellar.
This shows the texture and flavor of rich, citrusy pineapple custard. Jasmine notes on the nose. A saline, fruit-candy bite. Luxurious, but with a concentrated brightness and great mineral density. I think this will get even better.

Mar 9th, 2021Reliably delicious. Even on day 3 still incredibly pure and precise. Shoots right to the core. Great tension and balance. Very enjoyable. Excited to try the 2019.

Dec 11th, 2020Really delicious. One of the most “complete” white wines I’ve had in a while. Thoroughly enjoyable from cork pop on. Beautifully aromatic, great electric body. A *bit* less length than I was hoping but just very nice.

Sep 10th, 2020Beautiful apple cider color.
Straight up mangoes. Pineapples. An effervescence in the nose that cannot be pinpointed. Almost like the spindrift of a cresting wave colored sweet with bee pollen and honey.
Honeyed lavender, citrus peel. This is a Chenin Blanc I’d bring to the beach in the heat, toss a football around, and introduce the bros to a wine that could rival, I hate to say it, a mango white claw. I mean it’s a great picnic wine, too. Or a cheese wine. But convincing bros to drink a Chenin Blanc is a challenge I will accept any day. Now if only I could get to a beach without having to wear a face mask.
It’s a bit on the sweeter side without the bubbles to round it out, but the tropical fruit notes are killer enough to hit the 9s.
