Selected by Chef's Table at Brooklyn Fare Wine Director @Michele Smith:
"The wines from Jean-Louis Dutraive are silky, seductive, high-energy and honest with a great ability to age. His Clos de la Grand'Cour is produced from an old vines monopole on pink granite soils. The layers and complexity are all there, but remember it's Gamay so it's not meant to be overanalyzed otherwise you'll miss the pure joy of drinking and keeping the wine flowing."
