Blue fruit, touch of bacon, long finish. Good now but likely better in 5yrs. Tannins weren’t harsh but not fully integrated either. Pairs very well with lamb chops, cumin and fine herbs.

A really good wine! It only misses a 9.0 because it was a bit alcoholic down the throat. May have needed more air. But still good- medium+ body, dry with some tannins and oak, dark red or black plum.
