Domaine de la Piégonne Ventoux. Cool label. Stars and a bird. Blue. Good dark plum color. Aroma is dense with a hibiscus and rosehip thing in it. Flavors are delicious mix of fruit (dark berries and black cherries) and rocks. Flowing river rock from high up in the Sierras. Classy stuff. Has a Rhone style, but with a bit more finesse and softness. I wonder what Counoise brings to the mix at 23% of the blend with Syrah and Grenache. This is a nice bottle of lovely wine for a pretty lovely price point.

Mineral, metal, tart cranberry and a mouth full of seaside cliff. Bright, ripe and ready to drink. Damn I love 2015 in Europe. Second tasting and still so interesting.
