Served blind, This was so "obvious" as to its identity: palish but not old colour = 2008. Exotic perfumed highly distinctive nose = DRC. Medium bodied and expansive flavour = Vosne Romanee. A lovely/delicious drink. Very good, not great and with the telltale 08 acidity

Classic, timeless style... Pinot Noir being Pinot noir... Ethereal and delicate in color with loads of energy on the nose and palate... So delicate the rim had a watery meniscus. Incredible wine.
