Red currants and juicy plums wrapped in leather on the initial attack with deeper plum and anise flavors on the mid-palate. Finishes with well balance acidity and soft, smooth tannins. Displays elegance but still packs a back end punch .Challenging vintage in 2008, so this bottle is made with top cuvée. Excellent QPR! Drinking well now but still has a few years under its belt.
