2nd of 6 bottles of the 94. i did a 4 hour decant this time and wow this is singing. big earth - mushroom - black truffle profile. mineral backbone. some higher toned flowers and herbs de provence. some stewed fruits / raisins. just so much going on here. fun to share a bottle with my wife on a day of celebration.

Feb 3rd, 2022Trevallon was the first wine that helped me *taste* terroir — it smells and tastes like it feels to be wandering around in Provence.
This wine has gravel, garrigue, herbs de provence, rubarb pie, light black truffle, spices, raisins. I always say this wine tastes like it’s alive. 94 is still full of life and very elegant. RIP Mr Durrbach and thank you for creating Trevallon.
