Enjoyed at Cyrano's. Almost oily with great smoothness yet textured. Smoke, hazelnut, mushroom and lots of fruit and floral flavors. Table full of wineaux loved it. Very age worthy too.

My first Chenin from the Loire. Very perfumed with a slight reductive note. Full bodied and slightly waxy and viscous. Peach, roses,, old apples. VG.

I'm afraid that my personal taste is overriding what may be objectively a good wine. I found this disjointed with not enough acidity and full of over-powering bitter melon notes. And where were the seductive Savennieres aromatics? May be just this bottle, but I'll try another producer before repeating this.
