Mar 4th, 2015Not bad. Wouldn’t guess Rhone if tasting blind as it was more like a Beaujolais. Medium red color. Quasi floral nose with high alcohol. Tannic with bright red fruit on the palate. Medium minus finish.

Jan 29th, 2022Love this region! Some nice funk on the nose. Flavors of dried mushroom and plums. Medium body not too dry. Nice smooth tannins.

Apr 25th, 2017slight brettanomyces hints that recede into a balanced, full-bodied, cherry and anise driven palate. Classy wine.

Jan 9th, 2016Spice, earth, touch of vegetation, red berries and white flowers on the nose. Fruit forward on the palate, a little jammy. Raisin, strawberry, cherry, plumb. Medium plus body, chewy tannins, medium acid. Not bad, but not as refined as I was expecting.

Dec 1st, 2015Very fruit forward for Gigondas - the fruit was almost like candy. Also, it didn't have the bramble and wild herbs that I like in southern Rhones. I've had far better Gigondas for $8-10 less.
