From the Willi’s Wine Bar list. Straw gold. Nice weight. Sweet fruit forward nose. Notes of apricot and pineapple, tan spice, crushed stone and some sweet quince fruit. Nice fruit in the mouth. Structure builds with air. Chalky in a good way. Really nice but the impact and finish never got big enough to say this was great.

Aug 3rd, 2017So young it was almost raw. Oak all over the place, but a massive and elegant, mineral-laden wine with terrific acid cut showing through. Nothing New World about this, but it's going to take a good long while to eat that oak. Valuable to taste such greatness young, though. Thanks, Tim!
