Pretty big for a Volnay but rich and delicious. Very open and accessible after about 90 minute decant. Certainly will hold for years but quite good now.

👃Ripe red fruit with dark fruit, cooking spices, purple florals, soil, & herbs
👅 Multiple hours in the glass yielded crunchy red and dark fruit. Smoky & earthy. Finishes dry with mild tannins. Classy, elegant drink

The remaining wine was "Slow Decanted" in my refrigerator

DAY 10
👃Cherry, raspberry, strawberry. Lightly spiced and dusty smoke.
👅The earthy elements come through on the palate. Silky. Tannins well resolved. Finishes with spicy, dark fruit with nice length

Breezed through 10 days with Vinloq👌

Pop and pour. A medium ruby red color. On the nose: floral, forest floor, cherry, herbs, and caramel vanilla. Taste: white pepper, strawberry/raspberry, with a smokey floral medium plus finish framed by medium acidity. Tannins starting to resolve...give this medium body wine a few more years.

This pinot going great with the Imperial Peking Duck tasting menu at this once Michelin starred restaurant (1st Chinese restaurant in north America to earn one).
