Mature drinker. Starting to head towards the bottom of the bell curve, lots of secondary and tertiary flavors emerging. Brick, clay, bruised red fruits, maybe a little VA as well. Maybe this would have showed better if it weren't next to a 02 Vogüé.

Oh I love this vineyard but 2001 is not the greatest example. Still, elegant, fragrant, suave and nuanced.

Delicious. Richer fruit than what I was expecting. Opened up to new leather and forest floor. Judicious new oak, solid length.
