Les Granits Bleus Beaujolais Villages Gamay

For a hot July 4th back patio party, this #beaujolaisvillages hit the spot. Crunchy red fruit, a bit too cool to notice much more aromatics, refreshing cherry, cranberry taste, solid acidity. Nice pairing for Boerewors (South African sausage) and rabbit & pork hot dogs.

Medium purple in color; black cherries, plums, and dried herbs on the nose; high acidity; medium plus tannins; tastes like violets, pomegranates, and wet slate with a long finish. I like it and Nellie does too.
