Solid. Supple and drinking well. Red fruits, succulent fruit, on the darker side. Elegant and ripe tannins.

Another commentator said solid. And I think that is the right word. It is a good fine with a fine nose, but supple and somewhat flat body. Lacking acidity. Ready to drink.

Further affirmation of my love for 07 red burgundy for current drinking. Upon opening, expressive nose of darker profile fruits. Quite primary with a bit of underbrush on the finish. Wide open. Vibrant acidity that contributes to a great freshness to this wine.

Great aromatics. Red fruit, sweet spice and some floral elements. Still feeling primary, yet in a great place to drink. I love how the 07s are showing now.

This wine was chosen as the wine of the night at our tasting of about a dozen fine red burgundies. It was my second favorite wine, but it was also one of the top 10 red burgundies I’ve ever tasted. A great wine to serve to anyone who doesn’t “get” Burgundy.

Rich, ripe fruit, more than expected for 2007. Still needs time.

2007 still needs several more years, but tell-tale signs of MSD.
