Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe
Télégramme Châteauneuf-du-Pape Red Rhone Blend
This wine will never let you down. Year after year, just purely exceptional. In human terms, it’s the friend that will pick you up at the airport when you are stranded.

1 person found it helpfulApr 2nd, 2019Meh, it was kinda all there but nothing stood out. There was chocolate, dark fig, spice but all a bit blended together. Perhaps the acidity was too low to be more expressive.

Feb 6th, 2022🍇Grenache 80%, Syrah 10%, Mourvèdre 6%, Cinsault 4%.
🍷Tasted in a restaurant right after opening with Vietnamese-Style beef.
The nose is gorgeous and express itself very easily, aromas of red fruits and blueberry with garrigue note and a hint of fresh smokiness. The structure is well balanced between great acidity and precise, smooth tannins. Finish is on deep red fruits. Safe bet! 👌🏻

Jan 2nd, 2020Definitely too young... but..
Been a while since I have had this wine, or a CNdP in general actually... now realizing a) i need to drink more southern Rhône wine and b) the Brunier family makes some killer wines. On the nose, dried rose petals, black fruit and some leather. In the mouth, really expansive red and black fruit, rose hips, bright acidity and some moderate tannins. You can slightly feel the higher levels of alcohol. Long finish. Very well made wine, but needs about 5-7 years to come together.
