Too ripe for my palate. Nose got a bit better with air.

Color of saturated purple, quite enticing, and a bit bubbly. Nice legs. Nose of dark fruits, like dark skin ripe grapes, blackberry, a bit minty, a bit tobacco leaves, hint of cocoa, and indeed some citrus. Taste is mouthful and follows the nose, with addition of refined sweetness, and some bitter graphite. Aftertaste is also silky. Good Syrah except a bit overpowering bitterness.
