Light to medium gold color. Medium weight. Killer aged Raveneau nose. Notes of apricot, sea breeze, white clay, tan spice and some honey. Strong acidity, consistent with the 96 vintage. The mouth and mid palate lack slightly what the nose shows. Was at its best 6+ hours after initial decant.

Medium gold, heavy in the glass. Awesome aged Raveneau nose. Notes of citrus, kimmeridgian white stone and light colored dirt, some honey, some spice. Great mouth feel, with acidity that powered up over 4-5 hours. Awesome with some angel hair pasta and shrimp, looking out over the Kohala Coast.

Gave it 3 hrs in a decanter before touching it. Medium gold, bright with viscosity like light oil. Sweet perfumed nose. Notes of candied lemon, apricot, tan spice, wet stones and some pineapple. Coats the mouth with great fruit and fine grained acidity. The honey notes develop with more air time. Nice balance. Missing the weight of a great Grand Cru. Long tasty finish.

Straw gold with great weight and heaviness in the glass. Killer nose. Notes of apricot, tan spice, apple cinnamon and sweet honey dew. Impactful in the mouth with lots of acidity and a lasting finish. With 5 hours of air this was singing.

Just short of medium gold. Bright. Heavy in the glass. Gorgeous nose. Distinctly Raveneau. Notes of apricot, white clay, ocean breeze and a little honey. Tan spice, intense and floral. Palate coating in the mouth. Nice acidity comes on with air. Good sh*t.

Medium gold. Heavy in the glass. Opened decanted for an hour. Knockout nose. Notes of lemon, white stone with some oyster shell, and a bit of honey develops over time. Rich luscious fruit in the mouth. Acidity hides in the first few hours, then powers up. Great juice.

Yellow gold. Heavier in the glass than the 06. Nice exotic nose. Has developed nice secondary notes of clay, spice, lemon and oyster shells. Complex. Some honey shows up. Big in the mouth but the finish was a bit thin, even with hours of air. Not sure if this will get any better from here.
