Dense and still quite packed. Rockpool, floral notes, green apple. Really classy but a bit tight at first. Over an hour in the glass this unfurls and it’s pretty stunning. Really precise stone fruit, a contained lushness with wet stone notes and minerality. Years ahead but this is great

Mar 17th, 2023Quite tightly wound still. Lifted lemon, slate and white flowers. A gorgeous nose- and really precise definition. A little tight in the end palate. In a few years this will be crazy good.

2008. Cheesy top note, but gruyère-like, with a fruity, nutty edge. Cool river stones over apples & lots of lees. Great palate - so much stoniness! Fresh. Leesy. Wow. Too young though.
