Medium gold color. Heavy in the glass like oil. Killer nose. Notes of ripe apricot, tan spice, sea breeze, cardamom, some chalky limestone soil and sea shells. Rich and silky in the mouth. Light and not too heavy. Long finish. In a great spot.

Outstanding, they really do need this much time to give back, needs to be stored correctly though, this one was totally on point, a beautiful honeyed complexity to it.

Light yellow gold. In the nose: honeysuckle, apple, oyster shell, sea, and unmistakable kimmeridgian soil. Nice balance of fruit and structure. Very glycerol. A little flabby but a long tasty finish.

Light yellow gold. Lemon, honey, orange, chalk in the nose, Has notes of spice, river stone, citrus, vanilla in the mouth; rich and viscous. While it has powerful acidity, it's round at the same time with a lasting and noteworthy finish. Can still improve.

2001...like Houdini walking a tight rope between oxy and fresh. It's a bi-polar bottle, y'all. Certainly not a 2002, or even a 2000, but always the greatest expression of MdT.
