Opened after an 05 Forets was found to be corked. 3 hours in a decanter. Light straw gold and youthful in the glass. Medium weight. Nice nose. Notes of citrus, white clay, tan spice, some light apricot, some river stones and some sea breeze. Rich and full of energy in the mouth. This is good now but still early in its life.

Light straw gold, light on its feet. Fruit forward nose. Notes of apricot, white clay stone, sea breeze, tan spice, a little honey and some river stone. Rich and powerful in the mouth. The weight and impact grows with 4-5 hours of air in the decanter. Great showing.

Straw gold. Nice color and weight. Fruity nose. Notes of sweet citrus fruit, some vanilla, wet stone, some subtle spice and a touch of honey. Great mouth feel and light acidity. Gave it 7 hours of air. At open it was very primary, not interesting and a simple Chardonnay. After sitting all day it became very interesting. These young Rav bottles need time and/or air to show their stuff.

Light gold. Silky in the glass. Textbook Raveneau nose with notes of light apricot, lime blossom, white clay, honey and brown spice. Round and vibrant in the mouth. Long finish. Still young but the vintage remains approachable at age 13. Two bottles paired well with our Oysters Rockefeller course for a group.

Remarkably open, drinking beautifully even at this early stage of its development

This was perfect. A golden balance of liveliness and depth. Rich for Chablis, but still exhibiting the sea shell/mineral thing.
