Vintage 2013 | Mesmerizing Chenin Blanc. Remarkable development in colour, tends to mahony and gold. Apparently quite forward in smell, but this is deceptive. With aeration the wine is really multi-layered with a complexity that makes it a real nice game to describe what you smell: hay, Turkish fruit, apricot, honey, minerals. Great balance. Fine wine. Paired with fresh figs and ham, halibut and ratatouille.

A baby but no small wine, the body and finish are full and fresh, with density that tip-toes on a spine of acidity. Floral, mineral, yellow orchard fruits, plum and golden delicious. Should easily go 12-20. #huet
