In a great place now. Fresh corn, acacia honey and a very attractive top note of white truffle. Tension between pungent & light sweetness on the palate. Riveting, complex and incredibly long on the finish. #huet #vouvray #chenin

Great, complex nose. Moderately sweet on the palate with a nice balanced acidity. Still young.

Always amazing. This has so many years left but always seems to be at a perfect place

2008: lemon peel, white and yellow flowers, white peach, and honey. I'm not faintly mineral, much broader than Le Mont. green grape and acacia blossom. Perfect harmony between acidity and light sweetness, quite racy and tight, but lashings of honey, lemon cheesecake, and wet stones. Very good.

Honey and apricot and mushroom and acid and heaven. I know, it sounds like drugs, but it's BETTER.

One of the wines tasted in class this am and not a bad way to start the day. That poor #Muscadet before it never had a chance next to #Huet #Vouvray

Light straw colored with a creamy nose. Aromas of caramel popcorn, baked peaches, smoke and honey appear. Baked peaches persist through the palate with honey and raisin notes creating almost a sherry-like style. Sweet and delicious. Would love to try in another 4-6 years.

Still has years to go, but so excellent in this vintage.

Great. Bitchin with Thai takeout (lemongrass BBQ chicken wings and vegetable fried rice in particular). Makes me feel pampered. Like a high-acid orange creamsicle tonight.
