Gorgeous nose with a touch of gras, sea breeze, salinity, and a little cheese rind. There is real 2023 warmth here, with ripe, pure fruit and a juicy, plump texture, but the Chablis character is completely intact. Saline, faintly oyster-shell, textured and almost grippy on the palate, with a tactile sensation that hits the top of the gums. The finish has beautiful scintillating acidity that pulls everything back into focus. Warm, sunny, generous and delicious, but still pure, precise and deeply Chablis. Fabian does this kind of vintage so well. Terrific.
