2004 vintage. A nothing/going nowhere wine upon opening. Fast forward 6 hours later…nose full of herbs and berries. Big earthy basket of flavors to sample. Elegance only in the bouquet. Taste profile downright dirty. Oodles of tattoos and scars and personality. In serious leather. A definite extra credit wine. Burgundy with bad attitude and the chops to back it up. Not for the faint of tasting heart.
